2025–2028:
Biography of Fake News with a Touch of AI: Dangerous Phenomenon through the Prism of Modern Human Sciences, OP JAK
In this broader project, members of the research group focus on developing logical systems and methods for analyzing disinformation, considering its inconsistency, uncertainty, and incompleteness. They also examine the degrees of truth of problematic statements containing natural-language quantifiers and use fuzzy logic for their formal representation and evaluation.

The project investigated logical systems for more precise modeling of reasoning methods. Modal logics extend classical logic with concepts such as "necessarily" or "possibly", while substructural logics allow for the restriction of certain rules of argumentation, for example, with regard to relevance, uncertainty, or computational resources. Within the project, new theoretical approaches were created that helped to better understand and combine both types of logics for use in computer science, mathematics, or linguistics. The project was carried out jointly with a team at the Institute of Computer Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
