Members of the research teams from the Institute for Research and Application of Fuzzy Modeling presented the results to date of the Project in Riga
Members of the research teams from the Institute for Research and Application of Fuzzy Modeling participated in the 14th Conference of the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology in Riga (Latvia) on July 21–25, 2025. A member of the Research Project 3.3 team, RNDr. Petra Števuliáková, Ph.D., presented the results to date of the project Biography of Fake News with a Touch of AI: Dangerous Phenomenon through the Prism of Modern Human Sciences (CZ.02.01.01/00/23_025/0008724, OP JAK). In her talk, entitled Multiplication and Linear Interactivity, she introduced a new approach to multiplying linearly interactive (completely correlated) intervals and its extension to fuzzy numbers, including the identification of cases in which this operation fails. The research holds potential for further applications, including the modeling of complex interactions in information processing and the detection of disinformation.
The project results to date were also the subject of a lecture by the head of Research Project 4.2, doc. RNDr. Petra Murinová, Ph.D., entitled Graded Hexagon of Opposition with New Forms of Intermediate Quantifiers.
