IRAFM Off-Site Meeting

On September 23–24, 2025, the Institute for Research and Applications of Fuzzy Modeling (IRAFM) of the University of Ostrava held a two-day working meeting. The program included the presentation of the institute’s annual report, an overview of ongoing research and applied projects, an evaluation of research activities for 2024, and a summary of conclusions from the international evaluation panel. The agenda also provided space for meetings of individual project teams, which enabled the sharing of experiences and discussions on the future direction of joint activities.

The second day of the program focused on current issues related to research data management at the University of Ostrava and on a detailed presentation of collaborations with industrial partners such as MEPAC, NAM, and 24Vision. The closing session was dedicated to a discussion on the development and application of artificial intelligence within major national and international projects and its potential use in future research and commercial activities.
