Prof. Vilém Novák to Speak at ISAI 2026 in China

Prof. Ing. Vilém Novák, DrSc. has been invited to speak at the 6th International Symposium on AI (ISAI 2026), which will take place on 24–26 April 2026 in Chengdu, China. The symposium focuses on current research in artificial intelligence, particularly on topics related to learning, reasoning, and broader AI applications.

Prof. Novák will speak on „Fuzzy Natural Logic and Generalized Quantifiers in AI“, focusing on the role of formal logic in artificial intelligence, particularly in relation to modelling human reasoning in natural language.

ISAI 2026 is the sixth edition of the international symposium and aims, among other things, to provide a platform for the exchange of new knowledge among researchers from academia, industry, and public institutions. The conference programme covers a wide range of thematic areas, from advances in AI and machine learning to cybersecurity, data science, natural language processing, and industrial applications. Representatives of universities and institutions from China, the USA, Australia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Canada, Qatar, Korea, Pakistan, and Argentina are involved in the organisation and running of the symposium. Nearly 200 domestic and international participants attended the most recent edition, ISAI 2025.
