DigiWELL Workshop Connected Research with Practical Applications of Digital Technologies
On 20 October 2026, the Institute for Research and Applications of Fuzzy Modeling at the University of Ostrava hosted the workshop Digital Technologies for Wellbeing: From Research to Practical Applications, organised as part of the DigiWELL project.
The workshop attracted strong interest from participants and took place in an engaging, collaborative, and productive atmosphere. Scientists and researchers from all participating institutions had the opportunity to present their research, exchange knowledge, and discuss potential practical applications of their findings. The programme covered a broad range of topics connecting digital technologies, data analysis, advanced computational methods, and health and wellbeing. Under the scientific guidance of Prof. Steriani Elavsky, Ph.D., the project′s scientific manager, and Prof. Vilém Novák, DrSc., from IRAFM, the workshop provided a valuable platform for mutual inspiration, knowledge sharing, and exploring new opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
The event once again highlighted the value of bringing research teams together in person to exchange ideas and jointly explore ways to translate scientific knowledge into practical solutions that improve quality of life.
